But that&#8217;s one thing Keffe won&#8217;t hafta worry about. From the get-go the prosecution decided not to put the death penalty on the table&#8211;something I predicted even with the &#8220;confession.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>As Keffe awaits his trial next February (not spring) for murdering Tupac Shakur, the maximum security prison will be home.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>His custody level is close.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>What does that mean? Close custody in Nevada is mandated for offenders with a history of violence, escape, or conspiracy to escape.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Keffe has either been assigned to a double or single cell. And he&#8217;s separated from the general population.
